LAHORE – Lahore-bound Shaheen Air flight made an emergency landing on Tuesday at the Allama Iqbal International Airport in which at least 10 people received minor injuries.
The NL-142 flight which departed from Karachi was forced to make an emergency landing as its tyres burst, according to initial reports. At least 112 passengers and seven crew members were on board the flight.
Initial reports suggest that the plane ran off the runway as its tyre burst. However, conflicting reports suggest there was a technical error. All passengers have been evacuated safely from the aircraft, a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) official said.
